Step by Step Installation Instuctions

1. Select installation location.
        a. Easy Monuments™ are designed to rest on the ground.
        b. Select a level location so the entire footprint of the sign will rest on the ground.

2. Install mounting poles. 
        a. Dry fit the mounting poles into the receiver holes in the underside of your Easy Monument™. Measure the length of pole that remains extending from the underside of the sign. This length must be 3'' LESS THAN THE DEPTH of your post holes.  
        b. Cut mounting poles to length if necessary.
        c. With Easy Monument™ resting on its side, apply Handi-Stick adhesive into the holes on the bottom of the sign. Insert poles. Rotate poles while inserting to distribute adhesive. Apply additional adhesive while inserting. 100% coverage is not required.

3. Dig post holes.
        a. Size post holes based on local code and conditions and per your engineer’s instruction. Click here for guidelines.
        b. Double check that the post holes are deep enough to accept the full length of poles extending from the bottom of the sign.
        c. “Flare out” the tops of the holes as necessary to allow for concrete to be poured after the sign is positioned.

4. Position your Easy Monument™ with mounting poles extending into the holes in the ground.
        a. The bottom of Easy Monument™ is to rest on the ground. If the sign is “floating” above the ground, dig your holes deeper. DO NOT USE EXCESSIVE DOWNWARD FORCE TO POSITION SIGN ON GROUND AS THIS MAY DAMAGE THE SIGN.
        b. Check for position, alignment, plumb and level. Adjust as necessary. Brace as necessary.

5. Fill post holes with concrete.
        a. Concrete specification to be based on local code and conditions and per your engineer’s instructions.
        b. Protect sign from concrete splatter during pouring of the concrete.

6. Finish up.
        a. Remove any temporary braces.
        b. Complete any landscaping.
